We pay top dollar for your instrument or musical gear if it meets our purchasing criteria. Typically we buy locally after an in-person inspection, however we also buy items overseas after reviewing photos and details provided by you. We sell top instruments within their kind or class, often below current market price points. Panama City Guitars knows musical instruments and guarantees that items sold are authentic and in the condition specified. Pictures depict actual items in our possession. All instruments are double checked by the store owner and professional technician(s) to be fully functional and issue free.
We accept many different kinds of trades both to purchase or to sell. This includes partial -money or item(s)- as well as total trade deals to purchase from or to buy from us. We also accept collectibles and valuables ranging from art, gold, coins, watches, cards, or other sought after assets. Write us freely with your offers or questions.
Panama City Guitars will take consignments for musical instruments and gear that meets our criteria and will charge a reasonable sales commission of between 10 - 19%, depending on the item's characteristics and price., as well as the need for work or maintenance required. All instruments sold in our store conform to the same standards of excellence and have passed an actual physical assessment before being listed here. On a case by case basis, we do offer rentals for instruments and gear. Said cost is calculated over the item value and the amount of time needed to perform or record with it. Hourly rates or packages can be arranged and are paid in advance, ranging from $50 to $250. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a rental or end such a rental, at any moment, and for any or no given reason. When so, only the time used is charged unless any misuse occurs. Refundable deposit required over $1999.
Panama City Guitars authenticates and appraises USA made electric and acoustic guitars, yet specializes on Fender Guitars, Basses, and Gear. We provide appraisal and authentication services for your collectible Fender. All appraisals involve a mandatory physical or remote inspection of your item by us. All Appraisals/Authentications are paper written & handed in store letterhead.
